Operation Christmas Child

Each year we as a family and with our church pack shoeboxes full of goodies to be sent across the world to children who otherwise would have no Christmas gifts. It is such a humbling experience and one that we hope reminds all of us how very blessed we are. The kids fill out a worksheet about themselves and interests. This was the first year the boys were able to write (with help) all that they wanted to say themselves. We had lunch with our church family and then packed the boxes. What a fabulous way to start the Christmas season!!
