Today like every other day since we have been here I randomly chose a card from our church family to open and share with Derrick. I want to share with you what the card said:
When you opened your eyes this morning,
God had already seen your day unfold-
He covered each corner of it with His grace...
tucked His love into every moment...
and tenderly wrapped it with the quiet
strength your heart would need.
There is nothing more important
to Him than you...
and I pray He shows you how special
you are through the blessings
He gives you today.
We have been amazed at how each card has said exactly what we needed each day before we even knew we needed it. We are so amazed and humbled by all of our family, church family and friends. I don't know if you honestly realize how your love, prayers and support has carried us through this journey. Our faith has grown tremendously by watching many of you. How can we possibly thank you? Tomorrow we will finally be carrying our daughter out of that orphanage and in our hearts you will each be with us because you have been holding our hands, along with our Lord, the entire time. So at 10am in Russia (about 9pm Monday night at home)know that we are "taking" each of you with us as we begin the next phase of this amazing journey.

It is amzing how God always gives us what we need when we need it most! I have 9pm tonight written down so I will say a special prayer for all of you. Praise God!! Enjoy every second! Miss you!

Yeah!!! Gotcha day is sooooo close. In exactly 7 hours and 15 minutes, she will be all yours. Remember this day always! Remember the feelings - changing her clothes, carrying her out the door, taking the famous picture in front of the orphanage - remember it all. I am getting goosebumps now thinking back about Tanner. I am soooo excited for you guys. Be safe traveling to Moscow. Can't wait to hear about the next step in your journey!
